Mr. Mikami handles patent prosecution in the fields of mechanical engineering, physics, optics, and materials, such as living-ware, office machinery, material process machinery, electric instruments, electrical appliances, communication devices, computer hardware, production and assembly machines, civil engineering and construction, physics, optics, and quantum technology.  During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Mikami conducted research on the realization of quantum computers using superconducting circuits.

Mr. Mikami has an established reputation for his thorough understanding of clients’ inventions.  He prioritizes optimizing the value of his clients’ inventions while preparing patent applications at the domestic stage with a view to foreign prosecution.
