Comments from Speaker:
Japanese design applications may contain only one design. If an application has more than one design, the application will be rejected.
A design in which claimed parts are separate can be considered to lack unity and can be rejected due to having multiple designs per application. This webinar explains how to overcome the rejection and register a design with separated claimed parts.
This webinar is a continuation of our previous webinar “Basic Issues about the Unity Requirement for Design Applications in Japan”. The content of this webinar can be understood without knowledge of the previous webinar. However, we recommend watching the recorded video of the previous webinar for better understanding.
