The overall grant rate in Japan is higher than other jurisdictions． One of the reasons is that it is easy to overcome inventive step rejections.
However, in some cases, we do indeed face difficulties. Here in this presentation, we will focus on biotech/pharmaceutical inventions and provide tips to overcome the potential inventive step hurdle.
