In order to provide the best service to our clients, we have a large number of specialists in the various fields of science and technology, and these specialists are also proficient in intellectual property law.  Some of them have PhDs, and others have experience working for research institutes.  In addition, we have staff who have many years of experience handling IP services, who were examiners at the JPO, or who have worked in the IP departments of private companies.  These specialists are actively engaged in a variety of IP work.

Legal requirements and technical innovations are constantly changing.  In order to respond promptly to these changes, we have regular in-house training sessions led by attorneys and staff who are well-versed in technology and IP law.  In addition, we provide individual training to our employees based on their proficiency so that they can develop their abilities.  We are confident that such training enhances our expertise as well as broadens the range of our technical knowledge by sharing information across all departments.

Attorneys or technical specialists from our firm attend seminars abroad or work as trainees with our overseas colleagues, to better understand current intellectual property issues, the needs of our foreign clients, and how to prevent problems that may occur due to differences between patent practices in Japan and elsewhere.
