  In this article, we cover a bill to revise a part of the Japanese Patent Law, and recent developments regarding the Patent Prosecution Highway.

  We will be introducing various aspects of Japanese patent practice in the next few issues of Shiga IP News.  In this article, we feature Japanese patent prosecution procedures from the filing of a patent application through prosecution at the Japanese Patent Office.
After the Disaster ~ Efforts of Japanese Industries ~
  On March 11, 2011, Japan was hit by a massive earthquake and tsunami, which caused catastrophic damage in the regions along the northeastern coast of Japan.  In this article, we provide information regarding the impact of the earthquake and tsunami on Japanese industries, and how we are recovering from the damage.
