[Important Notice] Termination of Examination Fee Deferment Program
The Japanese Patent Office has announced that the Examination Fee Deferment Program will end March 31,2012. Accordingly, starting April 1, 2012, the official examination fees must be paid to the Japanese Patent Office at the same time as filing a Request for Substantive Examination and it will no longer be possible to defer payment of the examination fees.
