Dr. Sitara specializes in chromosome engineering. He conducted research on human chromosomes based on chromosome processing techniques. In particular, in his doctoral course, he conducted research on human artificial chromosome fabrication techniques and the change in the cellular proliferative capacity of primary cultured human normal cells resulting from gene delivery by the human artificial chromosome vectors.
