NAOSHI FUKUHARA

Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals
B.S., Department of Chemical Science and Engineering, School of Engineering Science, Osaka University
Ph.D., Graduate School of Information Science, Nara Institute of Science and Technology
Professional Background: Private patent firm

Expertise and Experience:

Dr. Fukuhara specializes in chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and bioinformatics. He also handles patent prosecution related to physics, organic chemistry, electronic materials and medical devices. At university, he conducted research and development on metallic catalysts which emulate the functions of enzymes in the body. In his doctoral course, he developed a server to predict interacting protein pairs and interacting sites by homology modeling of complex structures.
