Prosecution and opinions. Dr. Mikuni specializes in molecular biology,
pharmaceuticals, and foods. He conducted a molecular genetic investigation on
peptide-chain-release factors of Escherichia coli, and an identification
of the gene for release factor 3. He also has performed research on the
expression of proteins and RNA using genetic recombination technology, the
development of gene therapeutic vectors, and the identification of immunologic
control genes.
