Expertise and Experience:

Prosecution and patent litigation. Ms. Hashiguchi helps clients prepare and prosecute patent applications. She also has had experience in patent litigation at a private law firm in New York. Her technical expertise includes electrical engineering, semiconductors, fuel cells, computer software, image processing, radar devices, and telecommunications. While attending Columbia Law School, Ms. Hashiguchi worked as a judicial extern to the Honorable Victor Marrero at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and completed a judicial internship at a federal agency in New York. Ms. Hashiguchi was awarded Columbia Law School’s Parker School Certificate of Achievement in Foreign and Comparative Law. She also received the Student Writing Award from the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law, and served as the Journal’s Executive Editor.
